Our Commitment
YAR Jewelry & Watches believes that the experience of discovering the right watch should be within everyone's reach. We are continually working to make our website, www.yarjewelryandwatches.com, easy to use and accessible to all people, including those with disabilities. We believe that web accessibility benefits every visitor, and that each person has the right to navigate with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence.
Accessibility Features on Our Site
We have incorporated several features to help make our site more accessible to visitors of YAR Jewelry & Watches in Miami:
- Keyboard-friendly navigation — You can move through the site's links, buttons, and forms using only your keyboard.
- Readable color contrast — We use a dark palette with gold accents designed to maintain clear contrast between text and background.
- Responsive design — Our site adapts to desktop, tablet, and mobile so content stays readable at any screen size.
- Accessible labels and alt text — Images and controls include alt text and descriptive labels where applicable.
- UserWay accessibility support — We provide the UserWay's Web Accessibility Widget, which helps improve the experience for visitors with a range of needs.
Enabling the Accessibility Menu
The UserWay accessibility menu can be enabled by clicking the accessibility icon that appears in the corner of the page. After triggering it, please wait a moment for the menu to load in full. From there you can adjust options such as text size, contrast, and read-aloud functionality.
Ongoing Improvement
We continue our efforts to constantly improve the accessibility of our site and services, in the belief that it is our obligation to allow seamless, barrier-free use for those who live with disabilities. As part of this effort, we regularly scan our site with the UserWay's Accessibility Scanner to identify and fix accessibility barriers we may find. Despite our efforts, some content may not yet have been fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards.
This statement describes our current practices. We do not claim certification or guaranteed full WCAG conformance; we present it as an honest description of our commitment and our ongoing progress.
